Interior Designer and Artist, Jennifer Pond paints in the Folk Art tradition of Barn Quilts. Depicting bold geometrics meant to be viewed from a distance, her works are enhanced with a modern Pop aesthetic. Highly customizable acrylic painted on board with a stabilizing back frame, these works can weather the elements outside or live inside.

Inspired by a beautification project in her childhood town of Grahamsville, NY, Jennifer expands on the premise of the traditional Barn Quilt. This form of Folk Art was carried over by German and Scandinavian settlers. Historically, Barn Quilts were based off of soft quilt patterns and served as identifying markers or signs for farms or property. Jennifer has imagined her own brand of the genre, where the subject can be absolutely anything, while maintaining the traditional elements of bold geometric shapes and color, meant to be viewed at a distance.
